Used Dodge Caravan

The Dodge Caravan is a minivan that is manufactured by the Chrysler Group LLC. This minivan began production in 1984 and was one of the first minivans in North America. There are some other variations of this product which include the Chrysler Voyager and the Chrysler Town and Country. The Chrysler minivans have been ranked highly as one of the best selling world wide automotive brands.

The Chrysler minivans have been around a long time and as you can image has been through several generations. The first generation Caravans began in 1984 and ran until 1990. The second generation ran from 1991 until 1995. Generation three was in production from 1996 through 2000. The 4th generation of Chrysler minivans including the Caravan ran from 2001 until 2007. The 5th generation has run from 2008 until the present. The 2011 model has introduced some major changes in both functionality and styling.

Through the years there have been a huge number of upgrades and variations. The Dodge Caravan is expected to remain on the production line until at least 2014.
